Nickelback has announced a huge world tour for next year to support their upcoming studio album 'Everything Under the Sun', including dates across North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.

Now, the new album is scheduled for release on October 30, so we can't properly comment about it yet. But if it's anything like their previous productions, it's probably going to be a collection of rock hits with a vintage touch, ready to light up the stages around the world to the sound of guitar riffs and memorable lines.

What we know about Nickelback's World Tour in 2027

The Everything Under the Sun World Tour begins in North America with a show in Pittsburgh on February 6, 2027. The schedule in the continent is packed with 39 shows that will stretch until May. The cities include Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, Boston, Detroit, Seattle, Las Vegas, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Mexico City, just to name a few of the bunch.

Next is the UK and Ireland with six shows (Leeds, London, Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester) before heading to mainland Europe. In the old continent, Nickelback will be performing in several arenas, including in Brussels, Amsterdam, Munich, Milan, Vienna, Budapest, among others. The last stop is Copenhagen in July.

Last but not least, the band will perform 7 shows in Australia, taking their distinctive sound to Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane, Sydney and Pokolbin. The shows at Geelong and Pokolbin are at outdoor venues, somewhat exotic settings compared to the classic indoor arena.

The supporting act will be Don Broco on most of the shows, a band from the UK that brings a powerful, energetic sound on their own. They also have a respectable trajectory and have sold out major UK venues like Wembley Arena and Alexandra Palace.

It's good to recall that Nickelback's most recent tour, Get Rollin', was described as the fastest-selling and highest-attended tour of their career. So the bar is set high.

What we know about Nickelback's new album 'Everything Under The Sun'

Everything Under The Sun is Nickelback's 11th studio album and will be released at the end of October. We already had a sneak peek with the lead track 'Rattle The Cage', a rebellious and explosive piece, as rock-and-roll as it gets. The song features guitarist John 5, who you may know from Mötley Crüe and Rob Zombie.

We also know that the album will have 12 tracks and, as NME Magazine quotes Chad Kroeger saying, it will feature "every side of the band on it". A press release also said that listeners can expect to hear "the complete spectrum of what has made Nickelback one of the biggest rock bands in the world".

In a way, the album also marks the beginning of an era, as it's the first album released in partnership with Virgin Music Group.

As Nickelback tickets go on sale, expectations rise high. I'll leave you with another one of Kroeger's quotes about the new album: "There are songs that hit as hard as anything we've ever done, songs that take chances, and songs that remind us why we've been doing this together for so long".
