Teddy Swims - Teddy Swims is going bigger than ever - Inside his largest UK & European Tour Yet

Emma Harrison 30 September 2026

UGLY by name, unbelievable by nature! Teddy Swims has announced his largest UK headline arena tour which will take place next year throughout April 2027. The tour will see the singer-songwriter play at iconic venues such as London's O2 over a period of four dates, three nights at the Co-op Live in Manchester amongst others.

He will also perform in various areas in the USA and Canada in cities like Boston, Toronto and Nashville throughout September in the same year.

For UK fans who missed out on seeing him perform live over the summer, this is an ideal opportunity to witness the 'Lose Control' singer-songwriter in action.

Having performed at both unique venues like Powderham Castle in Exeter and Malahide Castle in Dublin, alongside appearances at the Isle of Wight festival, Teddy Swims along with his band Freak Feely, impressed and showcased his powerhouse yet soulful vocals brilliantly.

In addition to touring, Teddy Swims also performed recently at the VMA's, where he alongside Adam Lambert, RAYE and Sombr paid tribute to the incredible George Michael where they performed a medley of the late singer's biggest hits.

His inclusion in this performance, coupled with his ever-increasing popularity made it a no-brainer for the Georgian native to propel forward and take himself on his biggest UK headline tour to date. It will also see him head to a variety of venues across Europe such as Oslo, Cologne and Vienna, the month before.

Famed for his soulful, raspy vocals and his heartfelt lyrics, Teddy Swims star continues to rise. He is currently on tour in the USA with 'The Ugly Tour' and earlier this year, he was the only artist to play both Stagecoach and Coachella in the same year where he performed with Vanessa Carlton,  Joe Jonas and David Lee Roth from Van Halen at the latter

Such is his popularity, Teddy Swims had to add a fourth date at London's The O2, just a few days ago. For The O2 itself, looking through a 2026 lens, multi-day residencies by major artists and bands  are not unusual, but four nights by one artist within such a short period still represent a significant part of the venue's calendar.

His sets throughout 2026 have included his powerhouse singles 'Break Up In Reverse' and 'Mr. Know It All' and they, along with tracks from his forthcoming album 'UGLY' which is scheduled for release in January 2027.

Why is the tour called 'The UGLY Tour'?

The name of the tour takes its name from Teddy Swims forthcoming album 'UGLY' which is set for release in January 2027. It was named after the new phase in the career of the American singer and songwriter whose real name is Jaten Collin Dimsdale.

It has been described as a personal project focused on self-reflection, change and accountability and sees the singer-songwriter undertake a deeply personal journey of vulnerability, and reclaiming self-criticism. That introspection feeds directly into 'UGLY', From reclaiming insecurities to accepting that we all have  human flaws, fans can expect an even more confessional approach to his lyrics and songwriting.

Leading the record is 'Perfect Man', a dark, soulful pop track that tears into the impossible standards Teddy has set for himself. Rather than chasing some polished ideal, he's learning to live with the cracks. The song is a reckoning with perfectionism - and a reminder that the things that make us flawed are often the things that make us human.

His new record is the follow-up to 2025's 'I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 2)'. 'I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1)' - his acclaimed debut album which was released in 2023.

Where will Teddy Swims perform in the UK & Ireland?

'The Ugly Tour' will see Teddy Swims play concerts in Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow, and Manchester on the UK & Ireland run, all of which follow his dates in mainland Europe. His band with whom he performed throughout 2026 Freak Freely will be the support act for all dates on the Europe run of 'The Ugly Tour'.

When is Teddy Swims performing in the UK & Ireland in 2027?

Teddy Swims is only performing in four venues for the UK part of his tour.

They are:

April 8th and 9th -  Dublin, 3Arena

April 13th - Glasgow, OVO Hydro

What to expect from the Teddy Swims UGLY tour

Fans  can expect an emotionally charged, high-energy arena show centered around Teddy Swims' raw vocal power and hypnotic lyrics. His support act and his backing band, Freak Freely have been continuously praised for their exceptional musicianship too.

Despite being an emotional and moving experience, fans can expect to see elements of fun woven into the performance which includes a random 'jukebox'  segment where he randomly selects a cover song such as Shania Twain's 'You're Still the One'.

Based on reviews so far which have largely been very positive with 'Lose Control' being one of the biggest moments of the set.  Teddy has incorporated his most-loved classics with newer material such as tracks from his forthcoming album 'Ugly' such as 'Guilty', 'The Door' and 'Bad Dreams'.

Whilst he has obviously upped the ante when it comes to production to match the size of the venue, it never overshadows his mesmerising show. For fans, who are both new to Teddy Swims and for long-term fans, the UGLY tour is going to be one show that you don't want to miss!
