Time to step up a gear - Bayern Munich vs Leipzig

Bayern Munich, who have dominated the German Bundesliga in recent years and monopolised league titles, have slipped to third place this season after drawing twice in the first five weeks, trailing Borussia Dortmund and Freiburg by two points. Last weekend, the Bavarian side found themselves 2 goals down twice during their away match at Augsburg; although they managed to salvage a point, they were unable to cap their comeback with a victory. Bayern Munich, who have adopted a more attacking style of play under Kompany, had to settle for a single point once again in their Champions League match on Tuesday evening, conceding three goals away to Viking in Norway. Kompany's side, who face Leipzig at home this weekend, are now looking to step up a gear and take the first step towards a long winning streak. If you want to be part of a tough league match against the 'Stars of the South' ahead of their big clash with Arsenal in the Champions League next midweek, don't miss this Saturday evening.

Leipzig put on a show of strength

Having completed the first five weeks of the Bundesliga with three wins and two defeats, Leipzig have drawn attention for their success at home and their struggles away from home. They have picked up nine points from three matches in front of their own fans and secured a victory against PSV in the Champions League, whilst losing away to Werder Bremen and Leipzig. Demichelis's side, who also lost away to Como in the Champions League, face another tough away fixture against Real Madrid following their trip to Bayern. Having secured a 6-0 victory in their most recent home match against Bundesliga heavyweights Frankfurt, thanks to Nkunku's hat-trick, the red-and-whites now have two fantastic opportunities ahead of them to prove their worth, albeit against formidable opponents. When they take to the pitch at the Allianz Arena on Saturday evening to make the most of their first opportunity, it might be a good idea to make the journey to Munich so you don't leave them in the lurch.
