Tomorrowland Thailand 2026: Everything You Need To Know About The Festival's Historic Asian Debut
07 October 2026
Thailand is fast becoming one of THE places to enjoy live music and with Tomorrowland is heading to Thailand this December for its first full-scale Asian edition, there's never been a better time to combine two of our favourites - travel and music with a trip to Pattaya for its inaugural debut!
The world-famous electronic music festival will take place in Pattaya's Wisdom Valley between 11th and 13th December later this year. Since launching in Belgium in 2005, over two decades ago, Tomorrowland has evolved from a local dance festival into a global electronic music phenomenon, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans to Boom in Belgium each year to party and enjoy live music.
Tomorrowland is one of the biggest festivals when it comes to electronic music thanks to its roster of world-renowned DJs playing and its huge-scale production, so the decision to take the Tomorrowland experience to Asia is both exciting and a significant moment for both the electronic music scene and for the festival alike, providing another opportunity to establish Thailand as a major destination for international music tourism.
Taking part across three days, the Thai Tomorrowland festival will feature over 100 acts from both Thailand's own electronic music scene and international acts, across seven stages.
Swedish House Mafia and Martin Garrix will be performing in Thailand for the first time as part of the Tomorrowland lineup. They will also perform alongside acts like Steve Aoki, Alan Walker, Afrojack, Alok, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Lost Frequencies, Ferry Corsten, Nervo, R3HAB, Laidback Luke, Yellow Claw, Netsky, Kölsch, Kevin de Vries, Honey Gee and Infected Mushroom, giving festival goers an ideal opportunity to discover some of the country's homegrown talent.
Where is Tomorrowland Thailand taking place?
Tomorrowland Thailand will take place at Wisdom Valley in Pattaya, a sprawling 237-acre site surrounded by mountains and lush greenery. The site will host seven stages, including Tomorrowland's iconic Mainstage, CORE and FREEDOM, with more than 100 artists performing across the three-day festival.
When is Tomorrowland Thailand?
Tomorrowland Thailand takes place across three days from 11th to the 13th December 2026.
Who is performing at Tomorrowland Thailand?
The first incarnation of the Tomorrowland festival in Thailand has assembled a hugely impressive international line-up, with world-renowned acts like Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia leading the bill and both artists making their first appearances in Thailand.
They will be joined by some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Afrojack, Alan Walker, Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alok, Lost Frequencies, Laidback Luke, R3HAB, Yellow Claw, Nervo, Netsky, Infected Mushroom and Ferry Corsten.
Elsewhere across the seven stages, fans can expect everything from house and techno to trance, drum and bass and EDM, with artists including Kevin de Vries, Kölsch and Aly & Fila adding further variety to the line-up.
The festival's commitment to Thai talent is also an important part of its debut, with more than 20 local artists appearing throughout the weekend and giving the country's electronic music scene a chance to reach the huge international audience travelling to Pattaya.
What can festival goers of Tomorrowland Thailand expect?
As with every Tomorrowland edition, the music is only one part of the experience, with the festival's elaborate storytelling and immersive visuals playing an equally important role to the theatrics of the whole Tomorrowland experience.
The theme for it is 'Consciencia', a fantasy world that has been centered around six human emotions which includes: Wonder, Love, Anger, Joy, Desire and Sadness.
Each emotion has its own world, characters and visual identity, with the concept extending beyond the festival itself through 'The Legend of Consciencia', a fantasy adventure book that explores the origins of the story and its characters.
As proven in Belgium, this intriguing concept will be brought to life through the festival's stages, production and the wider festival experience, meaning fans can expect the event to feel considerably more immersive than a traditional three-day music festival.
That combination of music, storytelling, elaborate stage design and visual production has always been central to Tomorrowland's distinct identity and the three day event in Thailand will undoubtedly provide the festival with an entirely new environment in which to bring that world to life even more.
Of course, the natural surroundings of Pattaya will also also play a significant role in the experience, with the mountains, greenery and open spaces around Wisdom Valley providing a tropical setting that is very different from Tomorrowland's Belgian home.
Why is Thailand the choice for Tomorrowland?
Tomorrowland's arrival in Thailand is significant for more than just the festival itself, as the event represents a major expansion for one of the world's most recognisable electronic music brands and provides Thailand with an opportunity to position itself as an even bigger destination for international music tourism.
The festival has worked alongside the Thai Government and Tourism Authority of Thailand, with the event expected to attract visitors from around the world and provide a boost to tourism, hospitality and the country's wider creative industries.
For Tomorrowland, meanwhile, Thailand offers the chance to introduce its distinctive festival experience to a huge new audience while connecting its global community with the country's own electronic music scene.
The result should be a weekend that brings together some of the biggest names in dance music with thousands of international visitors and local fans, all within the surroundings of Wisdom Valley in Pattaya.
