Frequently Asked Questions
General and about Seatpin
What counts as proof of delivery?
Proof of delivery is evidence that every ticket you sold was delivered to the buyer.
For specific events in competitions with long ticket sales cycles and higher chargeback risk, such as the Euro Football, Olympics, Champions League, and Football World Cup, you must provide proof of delivery for all tickets sold.
Accepted proof depends on the ticket type:
- For m-tickets, log in to the Ticket app and take a screenshot or photo of the transferred tickets that shows the receivers.
- If you sold paper tickets for personal pick-up, provide proof of handover, such as a signature or similar proof. We need proof for all tickets delivered to all your customers.
You can provide proof of delivery in My listings (Sold). When you open the Fulfill window, you will be prompted to upload proof for specific events.
- Click on Fulfill.
- You can upload the proof in this step, or add it later.
Direct upload is recommended. Funds can't be requested for payout until the proof is uploaded and accepted.
You can submit proof for m-ticket and paper orders. For a main ticket holder sale, upload proof that you sent the login to the Buyer. For other Ticket types /e-tickets/, send the proof to [email protected] if we ask for it.
Please upload or send the proof during the Fulfillment process if possible, or well before the buyer claim deadline of 5 days after the start of the match. As soon as the proof is uploaded, you will receive an email with the proof status. After the proof is approved, funds will be available 5 days after the event, or in 1 day if those 5 days have already passed. We can't pay out funds unless you can prove delivery as described above.
Example of valid m-ticket proof of delivery: an email from the organizer confirming that the buyer accepted and downloaded the tickets is also correct.
Example of valid paper ticket proof of delivery for personal hand over: keep all communication about the pick-up arrangements. Seatpin expects proof such as:
- A text conversation showing that the buyer and seller agreed on a meeting point.
- A written confirmation from the buyer that the tickets were used, meaning they entered the venue.
- A signed document, along with a photo of the buyer's ID, as proof of receipt.
- A declaration prepared by the seller for the buyer to complete at pick-up, including full name, date/time, and signature.
- A photo of the buyer holding the tickets and their ID.
Upload these screenshots or photos as proof in My Sales if proof is compulsory, so your payout can be released.
