Frequently Asked Questions
Selling tickets
What do I need to do as a seller?
As a seller, you must make sure the buyer gets the correct, valid tickets on time.
- Deliver tickets on time. If you offer postal delivery or pickup, the buyer must receive the tickets within the timeframe promised to them. We set a latest delivery date, usually 7 days after the sale for postal mail and no later than 3 hours before the event for personal pickup. To make sure there is enough time to send tickets, we automatically disable the postal delivery option if the tickets have not sold by 10 days before the event. The latest delivery date is shown in the order/sales confirmation.
- List tickets accurately. The tickets must match your offer. Check the details carefully, especially the ticket category, section, and row.
- Sell valid tickets. The tickets must give the buyer access to the event. If you sell tickets with names on them and they can be transferred, make sure you request the name change.
If the buyer asks for different delivery terms, you can agree on other delivery dates or delivery options. To protect yourself against claims from the buyer, make sure any different arrangement is documented in writing so you can provide it as proof.
If you do not meet your obligation to provide the correct and valid tickets on time, the buyer has the right to a full refund. That refund will be taken from your seller account. Seatpin also advises sellers that they may be liable for damages to the buyer and/or Seatpin.
